Client Spotlight – Subway

 As a major supporter of community programs in the Valley, Subway Restaurants of Arizona is pleased to announce its call for entries for its first-ever Subway Freshest, Fittest, Tailgate Party of the Year” Essay Contest for the chance to win a free VIP tailgate party for the ‘freshest, fittest” kids in the Valley.

This “Freshest, Fittest Tailgate Party of the Year” Essay Contest grand prize winners and their guests will be treated to:

  • A private tailgate party from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. prior to the NASCAR Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway, Saturday, April 12, 2008
  • Tickets and parking passes to the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday, April 12, 2008
  • A very special visit from Jared Fogle, “The Subway Guy,” who lost 245 pounds and has kept it off for more than 10 years
  • Interactive games, obstacle courses and prizes 
  • Photo opportunities with Subway racecar
  • Free music, food and drink courtesy of Subway Restaurants and Shamrock Farms

From now until March 28, Subway is asking that young people, ages 8-11, representing their organizations (YMCA, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs, etc…), write and tell us what their organization, troop or program does to help them live healthier, happier lives. We are asking organizations such as yours to encourage your young people to write essays of 200-400 words telling us about a special program, event, learning experience or even a mentor that has taught them about health and exercise.
