Olympics Part 2

August 5, 2008

So, yesterday I launched into a public relations discussion surrounding the impending Summer Olympics begin in Beijing.

I asked you to get into the public relations team’s shoes and figure out some potential strategies to navigate all of the bad press the country has already received.

On top of the pollution, which I blogged about yesterday, now journalists have reportedly been told that the Chinese government will censor the websites journalists and visitors have access to during next week’s Beijing Olympic games.

So, what would you do about this one?

So far, statements have been released and crisis communications is in full swing. In your opinion, is it enough?
